I always like the agent Q&As--feels like you have an inside track with their answers.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all the OAers for arranging this, and the authors, editors, and agents who gave their time!
Awesome conference on editing. Thanks for putting this together.
ReplyDeleteI probably learned the most from the Editor Letter post. I had no idea that editors help you revise content, character issues, etc. I guess I figured that editors did line edits and only line edits. Knowing that is both comforting and worrying all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteYou put together a nice conference. Thanks to everyone who participated, sharing their expertise. I learned a lot. Wonderful opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI hit "send" too early. I found the agent Q&A posts to be very interesting. Hard to choose one!

ReplyDeleteSuch great posts all around, and I particularly loved the Q&As with agents that I think covered a lot of ground that isn't typically touched upon as much as it should be in interviews and #askagent. Thanks so much for all the useful info!
ReplyDeleteI learned that releasing short stories, like a prequel for a novel, may be a good idea to generate buzz for the book! I definitely enjoyed reading about the Marketing and Publicity tips :)
