Hmm, I think I liked Jennifer Nielsen's MG post the best (MG gets so little attention compared to YA) but it's a close contest with the Agent Q&A.
ReplyDeleteI would agree! It may just be because I've been into YA for so long that I've read up on it a lot and MG is sorta new to me, but I loved her MG post.
ReplyDeleteI loved Jennifer Nielsen's! Team MG!
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough question. I got something different out of each one. I loved Lisa Amowitz talking about the careful way she begins a book. That was eye-opening. And of course the Q&A with our agents was everything I'd hoped it would be - chock full of fabulous advice! I think my favorite for the day was Bethany Wiggins' Creating Unique Characters. When one of your favorite authors gives advice on something they do so perfectly, you gotta listen, and Bethany Wiggins does character depth/arc so well!
ReplyDeleteI love the agent posts. Keeps it very real for those of us querying right now. Thanks for all the hard work on this conference. Really enjoying the content!
