Meet the agents who will critique your Adult Suspense/Thriller entries!
Stephanie Winter
P.S. Literary Agency
Stephanie Winter is an associate agent at P.S. Literary. She first joined the agency as an intern before becoming the agency’s relations assistant. Stephanie is a dedicated bookseller who holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto in English Literature and a M.A. in English: Issues in Modern Culture from University College London. She is actively looking for diverse and inclusive voices in fiction and non-fiction spaces who make new worlds and perspectives come alive. Stephanie particularly appreciates strong characters who bend stereotypes, genders, and more.
Amy Bishop
Dystel, Goderich & Bourret
Amy Elizabeth Bishop joined Dystel, Goderich & Bourret in 2015, after completing an internship with them in 2014. Before diving into the world of publishing, she graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Creative Writing. She grew up in upstate New York and has now made the traitorous switch to downstate living. She is interested in upmarket/literary women’s fiction, fiction from diverse authors, literary suspense, and pretty much anything #ownvoices. In terms of nonfiction, she’s eagerly on the hunt for a killer feminist voice discussing contemporary issues and loves historical narrative nonfiction that dives into untold stories. Platform a must. Pop science & journalism also welcome!
Samantha Fabien
Laura Dail Literary Agency
Samantha graduated from Seton Hall University in 2015. After completing the Columbia Publishing Course, Samantha found her passion for foreign rights and editorial through her internships and part-time work at three literary agencies: Ayesha Pande Literary, Writers House, and Chalberg & Sussman. She joined the LDLA team in May 2018 as their International Rights Manager, and began her role as a literary agent in April 2019. Samantha's truest passion—apart from reading and writing—is sharing inclusive, lasting, and impactful stories with the world.
