Gabriela Rose is a recovery agent, hired to find lost treasures, stolen heirlooms, or missing assets. She journeys to the jungles of Peru 

in pursuit of the Ring of Solomon and the lost treasure of Lima. 

Unfortunately, her ex-husband Rafer has the map, and he’s not about to let Gabriela find the treasure without him.

Janet Evanovich’s other series stars Stephanie Plum who is also a recovery agent. She’s a bounty hunter, a person who finds people who are out of jail on bail but who don’t show up for court. She tracks them down and drags them back to jail.

Gabriela Rose is a different kind of recovery agent.  She tracks down and repossesses things, not people.

I love the Stephanie Plum novels [currently on #30] and was eager to try Janet Evanovich’s newest series. This book didn’t disappoint. It’s an interesting adventure with laughs along the way.
