Flash Fiction Friday #40

We're gonna switch it up this week. I recently had to evacuate because of Hurricane Florence, so, today's prompt is going to be The End of the World. What's some apocalypse imagery that you can come up with in 50 words or less? Leave your story in the comments down below!

Winner will be announced on Sunday, 9/23 after 12 pm! Happy writing!

  1. Hatred becomes the only thing we understand. We massacre, desecrate. Rage piles upon rage, cut upon cut, until the urge to immolate each other consumes us. Then the bombs fall. Only those following the fierce old woman with the Vodou rattle and flowing white dreadlocks, who turns chaos into wonder, survive.

  2. Thank you so much for your entry! Feel free to check out the winner post on the homepage! :)
