I've read SO many great books this year, but here's two off the top of my head...

THE DARKEST SECRET by Gena Showalter

Loved 'em both!

It's really close between Daughter of Smoke and Bone and The Scorpio Races for me. The last third of DAS is very different from the beginning of the book (not worse or better, just different) so I'd say Scorpio Races has a slight edge because it's consistently perfect all the way through. I did a top 5 YA books on my blog yesterday

THE NIGHT CIRCUS! Different, intricate, beautiful.

And did I say DIFFERENT already, because it should be mentioned twice. Wow.

The Night Circus for me too! Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was another good one. I love the writing and the way he combines those creepy/cool pictures with the story!
