At a loss for what to do this weekend? Here are some creepy crawly short reads
https://americanwritersmuseum.org/halloween-books-creepy-crawly-short-reads/
Includes Poe, Lovecraft, Shirley Jackson, other authors known for causing shivers. Missing is Harlan Ellison. I think the short story I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM is one of the creepiest stories I've ever read. Do you have a "favorite" creepy story?

I liked Ellison's "I Have No Mouth". It's one of my favourites and it's a sci fi horror story in a very big way. It wasn't just creepy to me but downright terrifying when considering the future of technology. But normally for Halloween I'll read something by Poe or Lovecraft. I just read Lovecraft's "Dagon" which I did a review of it and it's movie adaptation on my blog just this weekend. Now I'm reading his "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", both really creepy stories.
