Flash Fiction Contest #37

If you live in a cold weather area, you'll have no problem imagining bone-chilling wind, snow, and icy streets. And if you live where it's warm most of the time (jealous), then have some fun brainstorming what it's like to wake up to frozen windshields in the morning. Deadline is Sunday 2/4, noon EST. Winner will be announced later that evening. Rules can be found here.

Have fun!

The crisp wind blew through the alley and caused the back door to rattle. The sound of slashing rang out and the shrill scream of a woman rode the wind to the rooftop of the building.

In the apartment on the third floor, a small shadow figure saw the body lay sprawled out by the dumpster collecting snowflakes.
The blood splatter defaced the well clad snowman and climbed its way up the walls like poison ivy.

The Ravenswood hunter struck and fled like an exquisite cat burglar.
There would be no investigation. Humans were outnumbered, and werewolves became their targets.

Nothing like a cold alley in the winter time! Though I'll take mine without a body, thanks. ;) Thanks for participating!
