Cover Love?

So, I get to throw in my 2 cents for what I'd like to see on the cover for my historical romance TREASURED LIES. And one of the ways I do this is by showing my publisher (the awesome Entangled) three of my favorite covers from my genre. These are three I'm thinking of showing them:

But I'm curious. What type of cover do you like for a historical romance/romantic suspense? What draws you in and makes you think "oooo I must get this book!" :) Do you like gorgeous eye candy on the cover, a little skin showing, or something more mysterious, or just anybody in a to-die-for poofy ball gown? :D

I am having a very hard time narrowing this down because I love so many different styles of covers and can envision several different looks for my book :) Specific suggestions are welcome! :)

For me it's all about the dress. I like the gushing gorgeous dress the heroine is wearing, and the description inside that comes with it. Eye candy is nice, but I would prefer more of a tension scene. His hand on her arm, her peeking in a door way, etc.
I'll come back later with exact examples.

I like mysterious. Whether that's a girl running or something sinister on the cover, it just depends on what the blurb says, that's what really draws me in.

These are beautiful. I really liked the covers of Libba Bray's A Great and Terrible Beauty series. It's a paranormal series but the covers are a nice combination of historical + sexy mysterious. I also really like the cover of Heather Dixon's Entwined.

Entwined has a gorgeous cover, so I second that suggestion. I love the Irish Princess cover. It's so vivid. But the first cover grabs me, because of the outfits and the elegance.

I love the first one, but I think it's mainly because the way the title is graphed. It reminds me of the old printing styles.
