We all love writing. The discovery of a story. Finding a new world to explore. And we may love a happy ending, but the journey is the adventure. Only through the journey can we find out who we are, what we are capable of and how we become the person we are meant to be.

Love this, Lindsay! The journey, the discovery of the story, is the best thing about writing. It's probably why I insist on starting new books instead of revising the ones I've already written. :)
Today, my story will take my characters through a dark forest (I know, cliche, right?) and drop them off at the foot of a recycled mineral mine where they are sure to be interrogated by the natives.
