New Year's Writing Resolutions!

2021 has been tough. 2020 was no piece of cake either,

so, congrats on making it through!

Luckily, a new year is just around the corner, and it’s got to be better than the last two.

There is something magical about a new year that makes us feel like we can hit refresh on our lives. Every year I get caught up in that vibe, and make wacky, unachievable goals that I can’t hope to be consistent with… yeah….

So, this year I’ve decided to do something wild and crazy and make only a handful of achievable goals in regards to writing. I may not be able to control when I get an agent or a book deal, how much my advance is for, how well I sell, but there are a few things still within my realm of control.

This year they are:

1)      1. To revamp my query and resume querying

2)      2. To write 500 words a day on a new project/everyday

3)     3. To make more friends in the writing community

4)      4. Read more

4

Simple, sweet, achievable.

What are your New Year’s resolutions in regards to writing? Anything I should add to my list? Please comment below. I’d love to hear from you and help support you on your journey.

Welcome to

 Happy Writing,

B
