July Mystery Agent Entry #2: RACE CAR LULLABY

Word count: 177

Logline: With the moon shining and the race track quiet, it’s time for a little race car to get ready for bed. After he bathes in some suds, polishes his chrome, changes his oil, and reads from his book, he drifts off to dreamland where he vrooms to the front and takes home first place.

Cute imagery. I struggle with rhyme and know how hard it is to get the meter right. Is this the end of your story? I'd love to know what happens next.

Perfect little bedtime story for all tiny race car enthusiasts! The illustrations for this will be adorable!

This is adorable, without being too sweet. The word choices are perfect, love the imagery they create. When my son was younger, he would have asked for this again and again and AGAIN!

This is amazing. My favorite by far. I would buy it for my nephews and nieces.

Very nice! The "beat" of the last line is a bit off, but I think the rest sings.
